Hello everyone! I manage the Microsoft 365 Insider website. Happy to be here today!
- EricBBDOIron ContributorPlease make sure branding is consistent. I was unable to login and attend an MS event for two weeks simply because it's unclear that the red box icon for Office is actually the corporate 365 account login (I thought Office was a set of software with Word, Excel, etc) and apparently the 365 login is for personal(?) accounts. Anyway the 12 different ways to login using the exact same login UI is confusing enough, but the shifting amorphous branding is making the login situation way more confusing.
- jdrchBrass ContributorHi Linda, nice to meet you!
- EricBBDOIron ContributorHi, will you be hiring designers to work on Teams or any plan to rebuild the app from scratch? I don't believe the product has ever been designed and it's a serious problem. It's basically impossible to use for visual communication and I'm struggling to convince our 60,000 person agency to find a tool that isn't a serious internal communication problem.

Hey Eric,
Thanks for your feedback! We recommend you submit it via the Feedback Portal, so it goes directly to the product team: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback
Thanks,

I'm one of the most active contributors on the feedback site. I do so because MS desperately needs design consultation and they refuse to listen to the designers they do hire. I do not believe feedback should be the main design input, that's indicative of product management failure.
- Dennis5mileSilver ContributorHi, I've been an insider for a few MS programs... ie.. win10, win11, all of the MS Edge versions.... I have MS 365 family, if I install MS 365 insider what changes can I expect to happen and will affect the other members. Dennis5mile

Insider is a device-based configuration change. So you can have 1 device on an Insider build, and a different device not on the Insider build. Anyone using the first device will get the Insider version, which gives you early access to new features in the Microsoft 365 Family apps. Hope that info helps.- Dennis5mileSilver ContributorHi, thanks for your reply..... If I am logged into all the other devices since I am admin to them and have sync turned on, will it auto change those installs to insider builds... ie like MS Edge versions do...... Dennis5mile
- SirBruce51Copper ContributorMicrosoft Outlook: What has happened to the junk mail filter? Of late it does not seem to be working. Multiple what normally would be filtered as "junk" is going to my 'focused' inbox. I have the junk option settings set at the highest level but junk (often duplicate) messages are coming through to my inbox. I mark them to block but they still show up. This has been going on for about a month now.

Hi, Bruce, Thanks for this feedback. The Outlook product team would love to know more about what you are seeing. (I've personally been having this issue as well!) Can you please share this feedback with them here: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/89a8afa3-2e1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472

- jdrchBrass ContributorNice to meet you!
- Pete8314Copper ContributorWith all the 'new' premium licensing SKU's (InTune, Teams, presumably CoPilot) coming for M365, is there a plan to have a new "E" SKU, i.e. E7, that would include everything, in the same way that E5 did, just a couple of years ago? From an Enterprise Agreement perspective, all the add-on licensing is like death by a thousand cuts, since each addition has to be cost-justified. When they're rolled into an all-encompassing "E" SKU, the justification is much easier.

As the Microsoft 365 Insider team, we don't have the insight into the roadmap for licensing. I'd direct you to your CSAM for that information. Thanks!

- Eric VernoCopper ContributorWhat announcement from Build is the Insider Team most excited about?
- SusanCockrell

We're most excited about bringing Copilot to developers: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2023/05/23/empowering-every-developer-with-plugins-for-microsoft-365-copilot/ ! 😁

Hi! I'm Susan Cockrell from the Microsoft 365 Insider team. If you've been to a previous Microsoft Ignite or Microsoft Inspire, you might've met me! I work on our Twitter and LinkedIn and various customer programs to ensure that we are letting you all know about as many preview features as possible. Happy you are here! Follow me on Twitter (@susanwcockrell) or LinkedIn (Susan Cockrell).- Dan_TEALSK12Copper ContributorHi Susan! I recently closed all my Twitter accounts. The new changes were keeping me from seeing tweets I wanted to see and showing me tweets I had no interest in, so I decided I'd had enough. I am active on LinkedIn, so I'll make sure I'm following you there. Have you been looking at any other communications channels, other than Twitter?
- jdrchBrass ContributorHi Susan, nice to meet you!
- the_catfixIron ContributorHi Susan! I am hoping to learn more about the integration capabilities between Linkedin and 365. I desperately need to have my linked in chats come thru Teams. I can't keep up with notifications.
- SusanCockrell
Microsoft
Hi, John! Thus far I'm not aware of a feature that does that yet, but that sounds like a brilliant idea! Can you submit that as feedback through the Teams forum in our feedback portal? https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/ad198462-1c1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472
- njabourCopper ContributorIs there going to be a way to turn of Teams Avatar within an E3 licensed tenant?
- m36fiveIron ContributorI believe all you need to do is block "Avatars" in Manage Apps in the Teams Admin center. https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/manage-apps/96a116ab-6847-4d22-90f3-f4dd6af74938
