Word transcribe - audio file size limit
1. Check the audio file size limit: Word's transcription feature has a limit on audio file size (usually 200 MB). Make sure the audio file does not exceed this limit.
2. Compress audio files: Use audio editing software ( Adobe Audition) to compress audio files. Reduce the bit rate or sample rate of the audio to reduce the file size.
3. Split audio files: If an audio file is too large, you can split it into multiple smaller files. Use audio editing software to split the file into multiple parts to upload and transcribe separately.
4. Use online transcription tools: If Word's transcription function is not sufficient, you can use online transcription tools (Otter.ai, Rev.com). These tools typically support larger file sizes and longer audio durations.
5. Contact Microsoft: If the issue remains unresolved, submit the issue through Microsoft Support. Provide detailed error messages and screenshots to quickly diagnose the problem.
