Word printing a random blank page before printing the document (booklet)
Sorry for the error on sharepoint. I thought it was set to share to anyone with the link. Here is a wetransfer link for the docx file. https://we.tl/t-aiOMkEGD5u
I actually discovered its trying to say something about an incorrect page size, like this one blank page is a different size than the others, but I could be wrong there.
Its definitely not page breaks or anything like that and I have went through every setting I can find. It even tries to create two PDFs when you print to PDF.
Thanks.
Since you are printing a booklet, the very first sheet of paper would be the first page and the last page of the booklet, which you can then fold and get the pages in the correct order. It seems to work here, when I print a PDF version:
I downloaded the document and opened it in the full version of Word before "printing." It may not work properly from OneDrive or SharePoint (I haven't tested).

We have tried on 3 different PCs here, all the same result. If printing, say 50 of these, it prints one blank page per booklet and keeps it seperate from the rest of the booklet. If I try to print as a PDF from this file, it kicks out 2 PDFs, one blank one and then the booklet.
- Charles_KenyonJul 02, 2023Bronze ContributorIt should be printing a blank page at the start if using booklet printing. That page is the back cover of your booklet. If you do not have a multiple of 4 in you pages, it will be blank. The first printed page will be the front cover when you fold.

Unless I am missing something here, your description indicates that your printer is printing extra, blank pages. Look for a setting in the printer software that refers to "separator page" or something similar.
