Word & Powerpoint stops working
I get message that "word has stopped working" and the word closes. Same thing happens with Powerpoint.
I have tried quick & online repair but it still does not work. I have re-installed office 365 and the problem disappears for 1 week and then comes back.
Assuming that you are running Office on Windows, check if you can start the programs in Safe mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/open-office-apps-in-safe-mode-on-a-windows-pc-dedf944a-5f4b-4afb-a453-528af4f7ac72)?

Since repairing Office fails and since even Safe mode doesn't work around the problem, your only choice may be to remove Office using the Uninstall support tool (see Option 2 in the article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/uninstall-office-from-a-pc-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8) and then start fresh.
Be sure that you can access the information you need to reinstall Office before you uninstall the product.
