Word & Powerpoint stops working
I get message that "word has stopped working" and the word closes. Same thing happens with Powerpoint. I have tried quick & online repair but it still does not work. I have re-installed office 36...

Since repairing Office fails and since even Safe mode doesn't work around the problem, your only choice may be to remove Office using the Uninstall support tool (see Option 2 in the article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/uninstall-office-from-a-pc-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8) and then start fresh.
Be sure that you can access the information you need to reinstall Office before you uninstall the product.
