Microsoft Word does not include a native feature for displaying a progress bar based on page numbers. While it is possible to insert page numbers or use the “Page X of Y” format in headers and footers, Word does not provide a visual progress indicator comparable to conditional formatting in Excel or the scroll bar in Chrome. The closest available functionality is the use of page numbering and section breaks, which can be formatted creatively to approximate a sense of progress.
