page layout problem

I have a manuscript on my hard disk that should have been published two decades ago.  I want to publish it shortly if only as a PDF but it was set by someone else, not by me. It is in A5 format but only alternate pages - to accommodate the printing. Can anyone tell me how to reformat it to a standard layout? I am using WORD 2007, the program I like best.

Thanks

Close Word Rename the template file:
    %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm
    Restart Word
    Disable Add-ons:
    [File] → [Options] → [Add-ons]
Bottom Management Select [COM Add-ons] → [Go To] → Uncheck all → Restart Word Test
    Repair Office:
Control Panel → Programs and Features → Right-click Microsoft 365 → Change → Quick Fix
