page layout problem
1. Check the view mode:
Click [View] on the top menu bar → Make sure [Print Layout] view is selected
Close [Navigation Pane] (to avoid the content being blocked)
Check the zoom ratio
Status bar in the lower right corner → Make sure the display ratio is 100%
2. Reset the page margins:
[Layout] → [Margins] → Select [Normal] (or custom values)
Check whether [Paper Orientation] (portrait/landscape) is correct
Clear the Formatting mess:
Press Ctrl+A Select All → [Start] → [Clear Formatting] button (Eraser icon)
or press Ctrl+Shift+N to reset to the default paragraph style
Repair Section Formatting:
Double-click on the header/footer → Check whether [Design] → [Link to Previous Section] is turned on by mistake
Delete redundant subsection breaks ([Start] → Show/Hide Edit Marks ¶)
3. Rebuild the template:
Close Word Rename the template file:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm
Restart Word
Disable Add-ons:
[File] → [Options] → [Add-ons]
Bottom Management Select [COM Add-ons] → [Go To] → Uncheck all → Restart Word Test
Repair Office:
Control Panel → Programs and Features → Right-click Microsoft 365 → Change → Quick Fix

Table Overflow:
Right-click the table → [Table Properties] → [Rows] → Cancel "Allow cross-page line breaks"
Picture Misalignment:
Right-click the picture → [Surround Text] → Change to "Embedded"
