PAGE BREAK 365 WORD DOC doesn't work

The page break on 365 word docs don't work properly. The create an enormous space between one page and the following, making it very difficult to work with for presentation, taking into account that the company only allows these type of docs to work with.
In the attach image you can see how large these breaks are with the circles in red.
I've tried all options in paragraph options but it doesn't word. I've tried help with the assistance of an AI but it has given up saying there might be some limitations to these type of pages.
Anyone know what I can do to avoid these large page breaks in 364 Word docs?

You need to look at the pagination options mentioned by Kidd_Ip. The actual problem may be a combination of these options or one particular option applied to "too many" paragraphs. For example, if many successive paragraphs are set to "Keep with next," you may get unexpected page breaks, because Word has to start a new page at some location.
Displaying nonprinting characters will also be helpful; click the ¶ icon on the Home tab.
This issue is a recognized formatting behavior in Microsoft Word 365. The appearance of unusually large page breaks is typically not caused by the break itself, but rather by underlying layout configurations. Common contributing factors include paragraph spacing (before and after), pagination controls such as “Keep with next” or “Keep lines together,” and section breaks that introduce additional white space.
