nothing hapens when I try to use xml handler to open a file

Question

I'm trying to open xml files in Word and have tried all the suggestions but I get code or, in the case of XML Handler, nothing. I am using Windows 10 Home, Version 1909. I need help! Thanks.

Hi,try the Word communityhttps://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/word/ct-p/Wordp.s browsers can also open XML files.

Thanks,HotCakeX. I'll give it a try at the Word community. I tried to open with IE and still got code. It might be the files themselves.
