I need help with Word in a Mac

Question

Hello!&nbsp;I have Word 365 in a MacAir and I'm having problems at activating the tab "options" within the Developers tab. In my work I need to update the dates in variable fields and I used to do this in Microsoft, but now that I have Mac, I can't do it because the options are in gray. I need to change the variable field date format from English into Spanish.&nbsp;Could you please help me with this?&nbsp;Thank you so much!

Your screen shot shows content controls. These may not be fully editable in Word for Mac, unfortunately.

Is the document protected in some (other) way?&nbsp;

Ohh no 😞 no, the document is not protected at all. So is there anything I could do to change that variable field? Or use some other program similar to Word in which I can change it?Thank you so much for your answer, Stefan!

If you have access to a PC, you could test if the controls become editable after you open the document on the PC.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Or you could share the document (or a representative shortened sample version) with the forum, if you want to.&nbsp;
