I cannot select continuous words by dragging pointers
A week ago, I could not select words or sentences by dragging pointers. What I can do: double-click a word and it can be selected. Or I triple-click and I can select a whole paragraph. But I cannot exactly select what I want. Can any supporters help me solve the problem?

Often, restarting your Mac will fix these kinds of problems. You may also want to ensure that you install the most recent updates for macOS and Microsoft Office.
That problem is usually caused by a faulty mouse.
As a work-around, left click at the start of the text that you want to select and then move the mouse pointer to the end of the text and then hold down the SHIFT key and left click.
