How do I turn off copilot if it's not in the options?

Thank you so much for this! You are not just a star - you are a superstar! Your above process number 1 gets rid of the much disliked (I am too kind here) "Summary" box at the top of the screen. The bleedin' pen icon still appears - but at least I've got my laptop screen real estate back. The Copilot icon/sidebar is also disabled, but, in its current state, it isn't worth much anyway. I either use Edge's Copilot chat or the Copilot app, which are great tools. - Again, thank you so much - this has been driving me mad for ages.
