How do I make the cursor visible while typing in word

Hi there,   I am using office 365, word version 2310. I just noticed when I begin typing, even one letter, my cursor disappears immediately, and I can only get it back by moving my mouse or press C...

XWswanseaI had this problem for a long time too, i have fixed it by going to word settings -> Advanced -> on the Display section check " Disable hardware graphics acceleration " for some reason that fixed my issue, I hope that helps

    The stock MS 'help' didn't solve anything.

    This worked for me, thanks! My laptop power settings are set to Best Performance when plugged in and Power Saver when unplugged and running off the battery. I had noticed that while unplugged I didn't experience the missing cursor but I didn't know to disable the graphics accelerations which fixed the issue when I'm plugged in.
