Comments pop up after 10 seconds
More than a year ago I posted about a Comments box that pops up over the text after about 10 seconds of placing the cursor in a comment bubble. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/word/comment-ba...
As noted in your older thread, increasing the "Preferred width" of comment balloons will help to a degree.
You can try reducing the point size of the Comment Text and Balloon Text styles and, as Doug has proposed, you can decrease the line spacing as well.
