Take this:
- Use the SEQ Field for Sequential Numbers:
- Place your cursor where you want the first sequential number.
- Press Ctrl + F9 to insert field braces { }.
- Inside the braces, type SEQ followed by a unique identifier (e.g., { SEQ Number1 }).
- Repeat this process for the second sequential number, using a different identifier (e.g., { SEQ Number2 }).
- Update Labels Correctly:
- After setting up the SEQ fields, click the "Update Labels" button in the Mailings tab.
- Ensure that the fields are correctly copied to all labels.
- Prevent Number Jumping:
- To avoid the numbers jumping by the number of labels per page, ensure that each SEQ field has a unique identifier. For example, { SEQ Number1 } and { SEQ Number2 } should not be the same.
