Tabs on Windows 11 not maximizing to full screen
I recently acquired a new computer, and within two days of setting it up, I'm facing a frustrating issue where both Steam and Settings applications are not displaying in full-screen mode correctly. Although the taskbar indicates that they are maximized, they simply won't go full screen. This issue is quite bothersome, as I had just purchased this PC and I am reluctant to consider replacing it so soon.
- KamrynimCopper ContributorGo to Settings > Windows Update and check for any pending updates. Install all updates and restart your computer if necessary. And make sure that Steam is updated. Open Steam and check for updates in the Steam client.
- AugustuscCopper ContributorSometimes, the window management settings can affect the behavior of windows. To check this:
a. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
b. Click on System.
c. Scroll down to the Multitasking section.
d. Ensure that the toggle switch for Snap windows is turned off.
e. Also, make sure that the Automatically hide the taskbar option is disabled.
