How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

- sambzapCopper ContributorPlease Pernille-Eskebo re-add this. Until then I'll have to stay with Windows 10 on my work-machine.

Dear Microsoft, bring the "never combine taskbar buttons" checkbox back, please. Windows 11 is unproductive without it. Thanks.
- StevenO59Iron ContributorI have a super wide monitor on my desktop so I can have multiple windows open at the same time and go between them. Not being able to stop combining the taskbar icons is a real time waster when trying to switch between windows. I have tons of space on the taskbar to show multiple windows, but I can't use it because the icons are combined. This is ridiculous, and a detriment to multitasking and switching between windows. Bring this feature back!

Running on 2 large monitors, my tasks are all in a few icons I have to click, search and select for every taskswitch. Extremely annoying. Please restore "never combine" - I truly hate this.

I cannot believe MIcrosoft did not ask its user if removing this function would be a good idea. Unless they only asked people who are not highly productive.
- GonziAtAlzaCopper ContributorDear MicroAndSoft, my monitor has 4K resolution and is 40" big. I currently have 14 different windows open, each has its description and I still have a room for like 6 more.
If I wanted some fancy crap instead of productive desktop, I would have used crapple.
So yeah, thanks for nothing. Same goes for random rounded corners, missing fullscreen start menu and so on... - ByteITBrass Contributorhttps://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/releases
Download and install EP_SETUP.EXE and restart your PC, then off you go.- Merbin_JoeBrass ContributorWhere can I found that exe file?

- Sander475Copper ContributorThanks! This works great.
- webernirBrass Contributorworks great 🔥
- DDaelmanCopper ContributorThis is ridiculous. What is even the point of removing an option like this? I was actually excited to upgrade but since this feature is missing I will be staying with Win10 until this is fixed.

I really hate it I'm not able to disable the taskbar grouping function in Windows 11. On one laptop I have deactivated the Update to Win 11 and on the other laptop which has Win 11 I will revert to Win 10. I really can't work with the grouped taskbars.
I have tried it for a 1,5 month with the idea that I could get used to it.. but NO. I still hate it. I will revert to Win 10 and not going to Win 11 before it is changed.
- The_KenBrass ContributorHow many replies until we see this option again. Please bring back the NEVER COMBINE option on the taskbar.
