Can not use Windows Update
Hi, I don't know why my Microsoft Store and Windows Update aren't working, I think it's because some of my services are missing.
Recently, I downloaded an EXE file called "Defender Control". Because I already have another defender so I wanted to stop running my Windows Defender. After I stopped by the "Defender Control", I cannot use my Microsoft Store and Windows Update anymore.
I have tried some methods to solve it like "sfc/scannow" and "DISM", but they cannot solve my issue. Also, I have met this problem before and I have tried to restore my computer, it actually works, but I downloaded the same file again after I restored and I met the same issue again. But this time I don't want to restore my computer anymore because I might lose some of my PyCharm project. I downloaded the update from Update Catalog as well but it says "0x80070424". So please help me to solve this without restore the entire system.

Do you have the installation file?
Try download and run a full system scan with:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/intelligence/safety-scanner-download?view=o365-worldwide- I think it's a popular program that used for disable Windows Defender.
I still have the file. I don't think it's a virus. I think it changes my dns or delete some services.
The system scan doesn't work for this.- Did you preform the scan?
