You have 100 GB of free space, but Windows insists you’re running out of storage.
My system shows 100 GB of free space on the main drive, yet Windows keeps displaying persistent low storage warnings as if the disk is almost full. This has been going on for weeks now, and none of the usual disk cleanup methods or storage settings seem to stop the warnings from appearing repeatedly.

The system drive reports about 100 GB free, so the warning may refer to another volume, a storage quota, or stale notification state rather than C: itself. Open Settings > System > Storage and check every listed volume. Open Disk Management and confirm no mounted data volume is nearly full. Use Storage recommendations or Disk Cleanup only after reviewing what will be removed, and empty each drive’s Recycle Bin. Reboot once to clear a stale toast. If the alert returns, capture its exact wording and app icon in Notification Center; that identifies whether Windows, OneDrive, backup software, or an OEM utility generated it. Run Get-Volume in an elevated PowerShell window and compare every SizeRemaining value with Settings. If all volumes have adequate space and Windows generated the warning, run the Storage troubleshooter through Get Help and report the mismatch in Feedback Hub with the screenshots and volume output.
