Windows won’t boot my usb even though it’s plugged in
my pc will boot to windows lock screen, and once i put my password it just goes to a black screen. i put windows on a usb with windows creation tool and plugged it into my pc, but now windows won’t boot it and i get this message everytime i try to boot bios (shift + restart)

i looked into your problem. are you trying to install a new version of windows or refresh it. the windows media creation tool prepares your usb to install windows on a pc. also you said when you log into windows, a black screen comes up. Is it completely black like the display is off, or the display is off and the whole laptop turns off, or else the display is on but only a black screen. If it's the last option, try pressing ctrl+shift+esc. if that works maybe we could sort things further.
Also, does this blue screen only come up when you try to boot your usb drive, or does it come it everytime??
