Windows Time Is Not Automatically Synchronizing

Anybody coming here in 2026, I was able to fix the issue (which had been going on for ages -- on win10 and win11) by changing the Windows Time service's "logon" option to "local system account":

Now my time syncs with default the NTP server time.microsoft.com!
