Windows stuck on update loading screen
Hi! So my pc has started to try and update to the latest windows update as of a couple of days ago (on it's own, I didn't tell it to do this, I don't know if that's relevant or not). And now whenever I try and turn on my pc it goes straight to the "loading update" screen with a little loading symbol and no percentage bar. It just seems to be stuck on that screen and I can't get to my desktop. The longest I've left it for was a couple of hours with zero change to the screen. I've tried restarting the pc, it just goes straight to that screen every time I try. I've also tried going into bios before that screen has a chance to appear, and everything seems fine. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

The automatic start of an update is normal, but remaining on an unchanging loading screen for hours and returning there after every restart means Windows is not completing its startup or update phase. Enter Windows Recovery Environment by interrupting startup twice: power on, wait for the Windows or manufacturer logo, then hold the power button to shut down; on the third start, choose Advanced options. Run Startup Repair first. If it cannot fix the problem, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Uninstall Updates and remove the latest quality update, not the feature update, then restart. System Restore is the next non-destructive option if a restore point exists. You may need your BitLocker recovery key for these tools. Do not choose Reset this PC before backing up important files. If recovery will not open, create Windows installation media on another PC, boot from it, and select Repair your computer rather than Install now
