Windows security prompts me to sign in to Microsoft account, but I get an errorr
Windows security prompts me to sign in to my Microsoft account. When I try, I get an authenticator prompt that I am able to approve. After I click Next, I get the following error: Oops, something went wrong Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Note that I do not get prompted to enter my password. I tried going through the signin helper and it recommended resetting my password, so I did that, but still got the same error. I went back to signin helper and it said it couldn't find any issues.
Sometimes, creating a new local user and then switching it to a Microsoft account can resolve account sync issues.

Change to a local account and reset your Microsoft account password.
