Windows PC get the Ethernet Connection Problems

Your Ethernet link is dropping even after cable reseating, router restart, and the troubleshooter, so the next goal is to separate a PC or driver fault from cable, router, or ISP trouble. First, try a different known-good cable and router LAN port, then connect another computer to that same cable and port. If only this PC fails, install Windows Update and optional driver updates, then install the network driver from the PC or motherboard manufacturer. Next, open an administrator Command Prompt and run netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew, and ipconfig /flushdns, then restart. If drops continue, uninstall the Ethernet adapter in Device Manager and restart so Windows reinstalls it. Use Network reset only last, because it removes adapters and resets networking settings; VPN or Hyper-V networking may need reconfiguration. If multiple devices fail on the same connection, investigate router firmware or contact the ISP.
