Hi, Windows activation after a motherboard or major hardware change depends on whether the license is retail or OEM. Try Settings, Activation, Troubleshoot, then choose the option that says you changed hardware recently and sign in with the Microsoft account that held the digital license. If the old license was OEM, Microsoft may not transfer it to new hardware, but if it was retail, support can usually help
