Windows Explorer does not display User Folders such as Documents, Downloads, and Music

Greetings everyone,

I recently updated my Windows 11 from version 21H2 to 23H2 using the latest ISO provided by Microsoft.

One of the most notable changes I observed is the significant revamp of Windows Explorer.

A major concern for me is that my user folders (Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos) are no longer visible in the left-side navigation pane, except for quick access. I plan to remove quick access soon, along with the "Home" and "Gallery" items.

In my previous setup, these folders were conveniently displayed as expandable 'trees' under "this PC" in the left pane. Please refer to the attached images - one displaying my old 21H2 configuration and the other depicting the post-update layout.

I attempted to enable the "Folder Options > View > Show all folders" setting, but it resulted in an overwhelming list of irrelevant items. All I desire is to restore my 5 user folders!

Is there currently a way to address this and bring back the previous layout?

Thank you,

Mike.
