Windows displays suggestions, tips, and recommendations
You want to disable several recommendation systems, so one switch will not cover them. In Settings > System > Notifications, expand Additional settings and clear the Windows welcome experience and tips and suggestions options. In Settings > Personalization > Start, turn off recommendation providers, including recently added apps, frequently used apps, recently opened items, and tips or shortcuts. For the lock screen, choose Picture or Slideshow instead of Windows spotlight, then set Lock screen status to None. In Settings > Privacy & security > General, disable suggested content in Settings and personalized advertising, and turn off every category under Personalization > Device usage. Restart Windows afterward. Managed devices can reapply these choices through policy; if a setting is locked or returns after sign-in, check the connected work or school account and ask its administrator which policy controls it. Windows does not provide one supported “disable all suggestions” master control.
