Uninstall the problematic update.

  1. Back at the Advanced Options screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Uninstall Updates.
  2. Choose "Uninstall latest quality update" (this is for smaller, regular updates).
  3. If that doesn't work, go back and try "Uninstall latest feature update" (this is for major version upgrades).
  4. After it finishes, click Continue to restart.
