Windows 24H2 upgrade and right click menus
My question is is there a potential fix for how to re-energise the right click context menu in 24H2. Thanks.
The right-click context menu issues in Windows 24H2 can sometimes be fixed by a few methods:
- Restart Windows Explorer: Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find "Windows Explorer," right-click, and select "Restart." This can refresh the menu.
- Update Graphics Drivers: Sometimes outdated graphics drivers can cause right-click menu issues. Make sure your drivers are up to date via Device Manager.
- Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes bugs like these are fixed in newer updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates.
- Registry Fix: For advanced users, try tweaking the registry to reset the context menu.
If the issue persists, it could be a bug in the 24H2 version itself, and checking for updates might be the quickest fix.

If the context menu has been customized using third-party tools, consider resetting those changes. Also disable any third-party context menu extensions to see if that resolves any issues.
