Windows 11 update stuck on KB5040442

Since it's a 22H2 specific update, I manually updated to 23H2 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11) and that eliminated the need to solve it.

Finally, I actually reinstalled Windows on its partition. Everything is back to normal. I wonder how unsuspecting users can get away with this. 🙂
