Windows 11 Start button (and Explorer) not working while in Audit Mode

Hi all!   Windows 11 Start button (and Explorer) not working while in Audit Mode. But after SysPreping and user registration the button working fine. Any chance to fix it?

Hi Rich_Ricky ,

 

I hope the below steps could be helpful for you.

  • Open RUN (Win + R), If you are unable to open press CTRL + ALT + DEL to launch GINA (Graphical Identification and Authentication) screen and select Task Manager. From Task Manager go to File > Run new Task.
  • Open cmd.exe and type the below command and reboot the computer.

 

reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\IrisService /f && shutdown -r -t 0​
