Windows 11 sometimes report that the charger is connected but provide no charging?

Windows 11 intermittently shows the charger as connected, yet the battery status indicates it is not charging, leaving the power level stagnant or dropping. This occurs unpredictably with the original charger, and I have already tried different outlets and checked for driver updates without success.
