Windows 11 pro not connecting to Windows 11 Home using computer name

Have a laptop running windows 11 home which connected to the windows 10 pro computer fine.

Replaced the Windows 10 OS with Windows 11 Pro clean install.

Windows 11 pro set the network adapter to public. I used gpedit.msc to set this to private.

I can connect to windows home shares using IP address fine. Tight VNC also connects fine using IP address.

Samsung mobile connects to both Pro and home fine.

Laptop shows up under network in explorer but when I double click on it I get: Check the spelling of the name. Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found. I click on diagnose: Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (Laptop) is not responding.

Tight VNC displays: Error in TightVNC viewer: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.

Connecting from home to pro works fine.

Thanks,

Sorted: Had to add domain suffix to network card of Windows pro computer. Was set to Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes.
Set the same domain name in the DHCP server.
