Windows 11 Printer Issue - DYMO LW450 DUO is not installing correctly/entirely
have decided to return my Dymo, I refuse to pay good money for a machine that will not work for the purpose I purchased it.
GenieExh I agree. This has really put me off using the machine, I now tend to write labels by hand. The machine is gathering dust now.
- I've just come to print on the tape and can confirm it's back to square one - it does not work.

Is someone here who has a USB print server based on linux or a compatible router with print server funcionality? I cloud imagine that if you manually install both printer driver using a local port like \\printserver\prn1 while there is no driver installed on the print server (Windows Server doesn't work, already tested), it could work.
It looks like there is a problem using the same USB port for two different printer drivers in W11. Maybe a network port could be a workaround?
Michael1325 This does work, I have both parts of the printer working in Windows 11 by using a network USB print adapter. you just change the TCP port number on the IP Printer Port to 9002 to access the tape printer.

- Yes, it's sad to read these posts and neither Dymo nor Microsoft are doing their part to help customers.
I don't know how your computers are set up and whether everyone has the knowledge to install a second operating system in parallel, that's the only chance to still use this hardware.
What you absolutely have to do is disable all network connections and adapters, provided you still have an old Windows 10 in your memory modules or DVD.....
I have connected my keyboard and mouse via a USB switch and luckily my monitor has an HDMI and DisplayPort so I only use one monitor and one mouse and keyboard for the two PC's
The small Fujitsu Q900 disappears behind the monitor and I have the same clean workplace as with a PC on the desk- Exactly. I will say that using VMware getting it to run windows 8.1 x64 was quite easy. But it requires that you have a computer that supports Hyper-V and an old copy + sn of windows lying around.
