In addition to checking Reliability Monitor and WHEA events, you can also run a quick memory test to rule out hardware issues.
In Windows 11 you can use Windows Memory Diagnostic:
- Press Win + R
- Type mdsched.exe
- Select “Restart now and check for problems”
If the tool finds errors, it usually indicates issues with RAM or power delivery.
Also check Event ID 41 in Event Viewer: it often appears when the system shuts down due to power, PSU, or motherboard problems.
This helps you quickly determine whether the cause is hardware or software.
