Windows 11 keeps switching from Light to Dark mode

I recently installed Windows 11, Office 2021.  Previously I always used and preferred Light mode.  I have tried going to Settings -> Color mode and selecting Light mode.  After 2 mins. it automatically switches back to Dark mode.  Any suggestions on how to keep it in Light mode?  Please send suggestions to:  mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons   Thanks

    • Open any Office app.
    • Go to File > Options > General.
    • Under Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office, set Office Theme to Colorful or White.
    • Restart Office and see if it affects the overall system theme behavior.
