Windows 11 keeps asking for connection when a new WiFi is available

Any way to disable this feature?

    Open Settings (Windows + I).
    Go to Network & Internet.
    Click on Wi-Fi.
    Click on Manage Wi-Fi settings.
Turn off the toggle for Connect to suggested open hotspots and Connect to networks shared by my contacts

If Wi-Fi Sense is enabled, it can frequently search for new networks. Please disable this feature from WiFi settings.

Aureliow If you're experiencing persistent issues, you can try resetting your network settings:

    1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings.
    2. Under the “More settings” section, click on Network reset.
    3. Follow the instructions to reset your network settings, but note that this will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and require reconfiguration.

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi> Click on the "Manage known networks" option >Toggle the switch next to "Connect to open networks" to the Off position.

Try to reset network connections: Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset
    ipconfig /flushdns

Restart the computer at the end of all commands.

Go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, post a screenshot. Also attach a screenshot of your computer's system information, type msinfo in the search box and press enter.

To stop the PC from asking about new networks, you can disable a setting typically found in the Wi-Fi settings section that says something like “Connect to suggested open hotspots” or “Ask me to connect.” Turn off these options to reduce or eliminate prompts about new networks.

You don't remove those. Those are wifi networks near you.
