Windows 11 is Unable to Detect My Wii Remote When Connecting via Bluetooth.
Hello there!
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
We see that you are encountering an issue with Windows 11 failing to detect the Wii controller.
To troubleshoot whether this stems from a Bluetooth problem with your computer or a compatibility issue with the Wii controller, we suggest you test by connecting another Bluetooth device to your computer to check if it functions.
Additionally, you can attempt to update the Bluetooth driver via the following steps:
1. Tap on "Search" on the taskbar, input "Device Manager", and then choose "Device Manager" from the results list.
2. In the Device Manager, click on "Bluetooth" and then choose the name of the Bluetooth adapter, which might include the term "wireless".
3. Long press (or right-click) on the Bluetooth wireless transceiver, then click on "Update Driver" > "Automatically search for updated driver software". Follow the prompts and then click on "Close".
4. Once the updated driver is installed, click on Start > Power > Reboot (if a reboot is prompted), and then verify if this resolves the connection issue.
If Windows fails to locate a new Bluetooth driver, please visit your computer manufacturer's website to download the latest Bluetooth driver from there.
Alternatively, you can try pairing your Wii controller through the manual add device method.
If the issue persists and to rule out additional system components causing Bluetooth connection failures, you can utilize the Media Creation Tool to repair your system. This process does not involve reinstalling the system; instead, it repairs the system without deleting files or applications. Nonetheless, we recommend backing up any important data on your computer beforehand.
Upon completing your backup, follow the steps outlined in the guide below:

To summarize, if all the above attempts fail to establish a connection with the Wii controller, it suggests that your PC's Bluetooth module does not support Nintendo's Bluetooth protocol. In such a scenario, you may need to seek help from your motherboard manufacturer (Bluetooth module provider) or experiment with an external Bluetooth interface with a USB 3.0 port while disabling your motherboard's Bluetooth module to try connecting to the Wii controller.
Disclaimer: It's advisable to consider performing an in-place install or upgrade, which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without deleting files or applications. It's recommended to back up important data before proceeding with significant system changes.
