Windows 11 Install - Boot Errors
Your errors point to BCD, permission, and file system issues that are common in failed upgrades. Rebuilding the BCD, repairing system files, and ensuring hardware compatibility often resolve these problems. If these steps seem daunting, consider engaging a professional or creating a full backup with a reliable tool (e.g., Macrium Reflect) before attempting further repairs.
Thank you for the tips! I've cloned my SSD so I have a full backup if any attempted repairs should go wrong. There have been instances where DISM or SFC /scannnow have discovered and repaired system files in between attempted upgrades - but not always (which is odd to me... I would expect the same files to be corrupted after each attempt.)
I'll look into rebuilding the BCD.
Would you have any tips for diagnosing hardware compatibility issues? How would I be able to discern if some hardware is giving me problems? I recently updated all drivers to try and address that issue.
