Windows 11 hide taskbar labels

I upgraded 2 desktop computers and my laptop to the latest version of Windows 11 (23H2) yesterday. Now labels show up on my taskbar. I went into the taskbar settings, and told it to always hide labels, but they are still there. This is happening on all 3 of my computers. If I log in as the local admin, I can turn the labels off, but I can't when I am logged in as myself. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, is there a fix for it?
