Windows 11 has got to be the worst Operating System I've ever used in my life

I really, really hate Windows 11.  Everything I try to do has a hitch.  I can't even use my DVD player, for which I paid extra to have in my new Dell desktop, without subscribing to a Microsoft software application.  When I try to download an alternative, like VLP, Microsoft blocks it.  Microsoft also knocks out Google Chrome when I switch from Edge because Edge has issues.  I have to keep reinstalling Chrome if I want to use it.  Microsoft is constantly in the way, adding stuff I don't want, sending updates that screw everything up, and blocking what I want to do, which is simple computer use without interference.  I'm not a techie.  I'm just a simple home user that was forced to purchase a new desktop because Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 11.  I'm sick to death of Microsoft and the issues it is causing and the subscriptions it requires of me just to use my costly computer.  Also, although Dell's Customer Service Support has been helpful on occasion, I'm not happy with Dell for collaborating with Microsoft in order to sell more computers.  Well, I still have the power of the purse.  Next time I purchase a computer, I will remember this experience and course correct.
