Windows 11 Forgets Saved VPN Credentials After Every Restart

Despite saving the credentials correctly and choosing to remember them, the information is lost upon reboot, which disrupts my ability to connect quickly and securely. I want to understand why Windows 11 is not retaining my VPN login details and how I can fix this problem so that my VPN credentials are saved permanently.

    Windows uses Credential Manager to store credentials. If the VPN credentials aren't properly saved or are cleared at reboot, this can cause repeated login prompts.

    Hi Frederick, I would first check Credential Manager to see whether the VPN password is actually being saved. If it is not, the VPN profile or authentication type may not allow stored credentials. If it saves and then disappears after reboot, recreate the VPN profile and check whether Intune, Group Policy, or security software is clearing saved credentials.
