Windows 11 file explorer hangs, open

Perform the follow these steps:

• Open Edge Settings: Click the three dots (...) in the top right and select Settings.
• Privacy, Search, and Services: Click this in the left sidebar.
• Scroll to the bottom: Look for the Services section.
• Toggle OFF these specific features:
• Show opportunities to support causes and nonprofits (sometimes triggers ads).
• Save time and money with Shopping in Microsoft Edge (This is the main culprit).
• Restart Edge.
