Windows 11 Desktop Background

Seeking to personalize my desktop background.

I've selected a folder for images.  The folder has sub-folders and Windows doesn't seem to know what to do with sub-folders, none of the images are being selected for desktop background.

Any ideas?

By enabling this option, Windows 11 will now include images from all sub-folders within your selected folder when changing your desktop background. This way, Windows can properly cycle through all your images, including those stored in sub-folders.

By enabling WHAT option though? There were none that I could see (like "include subfolders") which is the screenshot I sent.

To personalize your Windows 11 desktop background with images from a folder that contains sub-folders, you need to set the slideshow settings correctly. Windows 11's slideshow feature allows you to select a main folder, but it doesn't automatically include images from sub-folders unless you specify that option.

How do you specify that option? I see no way to do that here. That folder does have subfolders.
