Windows 11: Antivirus causes high CPU usage

My antivirus software is causing persistently high CPU usage, often peaking at 100% and slowing down my entire system even during idle periods. This performance hit occurs during both scheduled scans and real-time protection, and I need advice on adjusting settings or finding a lighter security solution.

    And the antivirus is: Windows Security or third-party AV?

    If it's third-party, better uninstalling it and switching to Windows Security.

    If its Windows Security, try to reset it.
