Windows 11 25H2 update fails with error 0x8007001f – should I use the Installation Assistant?

Hi,

I am trying to install the Windows 11 25H2 feature update, but Windows Update fails every time with error 0x8007001f during the installation process.

I already tried the following steps:

• SFC and DISM (both clean)

• Resetting Windows Update components

• Resetting SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2

• Restarting all update-related services

• Checking drivers

• Free disk space is available

Despite all this, Windows Update still fails with the same error.

My question is:

Is it recommended to use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant when Windows Update cannot install a feature update?

I want to make sure this is the correct and safe method before proceeding.
