Windows 11 24H2 Update No Longer Available

Windows 11 24H2 was available to download and install on my PC several days ago.  When I went to install the update, there was an issue, and the update was backed out.  I paused updates while I went through some troubleshooting suggestions I read online.  I didn't find any problems, so I decided to try again.  When I resume updates, the 24H2 update doesn't show again.  I've checked the Windows Updates setting along with manually running 'Check for updates' option, but still nothing, no 24H2 update.  Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Thanks,

Manually download and install the standalone update package for 24H2 (.msu file) from the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

I don’t know anything about this before now I get it, thank you so much.

  • Sometimes, Windows updates are rolled out gradually or paused due to known issues. If the update isn't appearing, it could be due to your device's compatibility or Microsoft’s phased rollout policies.
