Windows 11 24H2 (Build 26100.6899) (KB5066835) — Apps freeze when accessing camera or microphone

Update (2025-10-30):

I just ran a Windows Update for "Windows 11, version 25H2", which completed successfully, albeit surprisingly (= suspiciously) fast, and Windows now says its "Version 25H2 Build 26200.6899". The camsvc issue persists unchanged, though. And since the update went by so fast, and since the build number barely changed, I'm guessing this was not really the 25H2 feature update, but just some version flag switch / paper update?
