Windows 11 - Do you like it?
I do, actually. I found Windows 10 hard to navigate, and make me long for Windows 7. Windows 11 seems quite a bit more intuitive to me... A couple of things I wish though -
1) more transparency/consistency in application data structure. I genuinely have no idea where to find anything installed by the store - and my overall programs/apps seem to be in a mix of program_files, appdata folders or a hidden WindowsApps folder. This shouldn't be hidden.
2) The automatic OneDrive integration, no thanks. It's caused me some really bizarre issues - like the desktop being nested in another desktop, with duplicate folders being restored from the cloud. I don't want all my personal files on Ms servers, and the way it's presented in File_Explorer is just confusing.
3) Add an immutable windows icon to any process within Task Manager that is a normal, microsoft-approved, fresh-install process. To make distinguishing processes easier.
4) Have one unified place for startup items. ONE. Not 5 different things to check..
5) Make a list of Microsoft's software - not just the trendy user apps, I mean like PowerToys, WinDbg, etc - these are things no one knows about until they hear about them
